A source of referrals, resources, news, marketing, and building of agent, team and/or agency goodwill occurs on the Internet and social media. Reputable social media and online portals typically have use and reporting restrictions for instances when goodwill is misused, violated, used to unfairly compete, misdirect or redirect business.  

To best be able to enforce goodwill in an infringement report, ownership of a U.S. Trademark registration may be advised, if not required.
